ABOUT YOUR CLASS

So much of the partner’s role in birth has been minimized, which has limited their ability to connect and bond with their children. Labor Together is a class that shows  parents how to prepare for childbirth and to do so as a strong unit.

There are ways partners can apply themselves to be a valuable support for moms, and this class is all about highlighting those ways.

In this two hour workshop expecting couples will learn and practice:

1. Ways to keep moms comfortable and relaxed

2. Breathing techniques that help ease labor

3. Touch support and counter pressure

4. Supported postures — kneeling, sitting, and standing — that are optimum for childbirth.
